George Orwell in Stockton on Tees

Image
This is my latest painting that depicts George Orwell standing outside of the house he lived in during 1944 and 1945. It is in the village of Carlton near Stockton on Tees. They say it inspired Animal Farm and he  was also writing 1984 there. #georgeorwell #stocktonontees

My favourite cafe in Paris.

I would often go to this cafe when I was working at the Bercy Arena in Paris. Paris is certainly food for the artists eye.

My Los Angeles Paintings

Image
Forty years ago I spent a few years painting in Los Angeles California. I was painting in a super realist style. I had several paintings exhibited in Galleries around LA and in 1982 I brought them back over to England and had exhibitions at York City Art Gallery and Middlesbrough Art gallery. Some of these paintings are in private collections and a few I still own today.

Miscellaneous paintings and drawings that I have completed over the years since 1972 up to the present.
